FUOYE is recruiting. The management of Federal University, Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following academic and non-academic staff vacancies in the university.
Professorship – CONUASS 07
A minimum of Ph.D. in the relevant fields.
a) Must have at least ten (10) years of teaching and research experience in the University system or any comparable research institution.
b) Must show academic experience through publication in recognized local and international journals.
c) Must show academic leadership through postgraduate supervision and be able to attract research grant from both local and international funding agencies.
d) Must be ready to lead various research groups within the department and the University as a whole.
Readership – CONUASS 06
Candidates should possess:
a) A minimum of Ph.D. in the relevant fields.
b) Must have at least eight (8) years of teaching and research experience in the University system or any comparable research institution.
c) Must show academic experience through publication in recognized local and international journals.
d) Must show academic leadership through postgraduate supervision and be able to attract research grant from both local and international funding agencies.
e) Must be ready to lead various research groups within the department and the University as a whole.
Senior Lecturer – CONUASS 05
Candidates should possess:
a) A minimum of Ph.D. in the relevant fields.
b) Must have at least six (6) years of teaching and research experience in the University system or any comparable research institution.
c) Must show academic experience through publication in recognized local and international journals.
d) Must show academic leadership through postgraduate supervision and be able to attract research grant from both local and international funding agencies.
e) Must be ready to lead various research groups within the department and the University as a whole.
Lecturer I – CONUASS 04
Candidates should possess:
a) A minimum of Ph.D. in the relevant fields.
b) Must have at least four (4) years of teaching and research experience in the University system or any comparable research institution.
c) Must show academic experience through publication in recognized local and international journals.
d) Must show academic leadership through postgraduate supervision and be able to attract research grant from both local and international funding agencies.
e) Must be ready to lead various research groups within the department and the University as a whole.

Lecturer II – CONUASS 03
Candidates should possess:
A minimum of Ph.D.in relevant fields
a) Faculty of Engineering accepts Master’s Degree (minimum of second class upper).
b) Apart from teaching and research works, candidates with Master’s Degree must qualify for a Ph.D. programme.
Assistant Lecturer – CONUASS 02
Candidates should possess:
a) A good honours degree from a recognized University and a Master’s degree in the appropriate field.
b) Apart from teaching and research works, candidates must qualify for a Ph.D. programme.
c) Ability for research and practical competence in area of specialization will be an advantage
d) Candidates should be computer literate and must have registered for a Ph.D. programme.
e) Membership of relevant professional bodies.
Principal Sport Coach – CONTISS 11
(a) A good first degree from a recognized University in Physical and Health Education plus 8 years coaching
(b) Diploma or NCE in Physical and Health Education plus 12 years coaching experiences.
Senior Laboratory Technologist – CONTISS 09
Candidates should possess:
(a) Full Technologists Certificate (FTC) plus AISLT or MNISLT with six (6) years post-qualification experience or
(b) C and G (final) plus AISLT or MNISLT with six (6) years post qualification experience or
(c) Final Diploma plus AISLT or MNISLT with six (6) years post qualification Experience or
(d) B.Sc/B.Tech in relevant fields as stated in the attached document
(e) HND in relevant field plus AISLT or MNISLT with six (6) years post qualification experience.
Laboratory Technologist I – CONTISS 08
Candidates should possess:
(a) Full Technologist Certificate (FTC) plus AISLT or MNISLT with three (3) years post qualification experience or
(b) C and G (Final) plus AISLT or MNISLT with three (3) years post qualification Experience or
(c)Final Diploma plus AISLT or MNISLT with three (3) years post qualification experience or
