Jenifa’s Diary: Fathia Balogun, others join Funke Akindele on set
Star actress, Funke Akindele is currently teaming up with Fathia Balogun, Ngozi Nwosu and Funsho Adeolu to create the ninth season of her hilarious television serial, Jenifa’s Diary.
The award-winning actress made the announcement on her Instagram page a few days ago and now we bring you behind-the-scenes images from the set.
Although still at principal photography stage, filming for the new season of Jenifa’s Diary began about three weeks ago.
Popular sexy and stylish character – Kiki (played by Lota Chukwu) is also making her return in the upcoming season.
A spin-off from the Jenifa movies, Jenifa’s Diary is a story about a village girl seeking a better life in Lagos.
The forthcoming season is directed by Tunde Olaoye.
